Informed by the motion of rippling water; Ripple is a family of jewellery holders that act as frames in an animation. Each vessel is wheel thrown with a slight alteration in form, so that when they are viewed in sequence they create the illusion of movement and change.
This project was created for Makers in Residence for Craft Victoria as a part of Craft Contemporary 2022. The residency covered explanations of the planning and preparation involved, the forming of the vessels and finally the creation of an animation.
